At the end of the 2009/10 season Chelsea FC achieved the double of winning the Premier League and the FA Cup. In the current 2011/12 season Chelsea Football Club have reached the final of the Champions League, where they will play Bayern Munich in the final, at the Allianz Arena in Munich, on 19th May 2012. Chelsea won this season's F.A.Cup, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 5th May, with goals from Ramirez and Grogba seeing the Blues home.

Since the 1960's Chelsea's regular shirt colour has been royal Blue. Over the years the shirt badge has changed because of modernising or re-branding. The current crest is an adapted version of the one that was first used in the 1950's, and features a ceremonial lion with a staff in it's hands.
